Operating from Dubai, Holger has 23 years of experience in Corporate, M&A, Private Equity and Venture Capital Transactions. He serves Private Equity & Venture Capital Funds, HPIs, Family Offices, Entrepreneurs and Startups in their Corporate Finance Transactions, Fundraisings, Reorganizations, Joint Ventures and internationalizations. Holger has processed 500 plus transactions since 1999 as lawyer and partner in global advisory firms like Clifford Chance, Dentons and Norton Rose Fulbright. He is an Attorney at law admitted in New York and Germany and a widely recognized transaction specialist in the European market.

Kai Oliver Krüger

Kai is a partner in Fieldfisher’s Frankfurt office and has more than 15 years of experience in domestic and cross-border M&A transactions. He regularly advises on corporate, private equity and venture capital transactions as well as restructuring and reorganisation projects. Kai has a special focus to the legal form of the Societas Europaea (SE) legal form, in particular when structuring and implementing multinational carve-outs. Prior to becoming partner at Fieldfisher he served as a counsel in the Norton Rose Fulbright Frankfurt office.

Matthew is a corporate partner with DAC Beachcroft LLP; he has over 25 years’ experience advising on transactional and governance related issues, specialising in M&A and joint ventures, and having particular expertise in transactions on AIM and in the technology sector.

His clients range from listed technology companies, through real estate developers and hi-tech start-ups, to high net worth individuals; he started his career working for Credit Agricole on the Marché à Terme des Instruments Financiers in Paris before qualifying as a solicitor. Konstantin is a partner at Clairfield in Frankfurt, and over the last seven years, he has worked on various M&A, financing, and strategic advisory projects at Clairfield. Previously Konstantin worked as a financial services analyst at KPMG and joined Clairfield in 2016.

Konstantin holds a masters in finance with a focus on corporate finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. In 2020 he completed the Certified Professional in Restructuring & Turnaround Management certificate program at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.

In addition to working at Clairfield, Konstantin is active in his own 2nd generation family business (sensor technology/building automation), providing financial controlling support and advice regarding M&A.

Dr. Albert Schander

Albert is the founder and managing partner of Clairfield in Germany and a member of the board of Clairfield International. He also leads Clairfield industrial practice group.

Previously Albert worked as co-head of corporate finance for an international investment banking group where he was responsible for international equity financing projects and IPOs. Further milestones in his career were BAI (Deutsche Bank Group) in Milan, KPMG in Milan, and Lehman Brothers in Frankfurt where among other responsibilities, Albert advised on numerous crossborder mergers & acquisitions transactions.

Albert studied law and economics at the Universities of Passau, Pavia in Italy, and Munich, and is qualified as an attorney-at-law in Germany. He holds a law degree from Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich and a Ph.D. from Friedrich-Schiller-University of Jena.
